Kongens Nytorv is an underground metro station in the Danish capital, Copenhagen , under the square of the same name, Kongens Nytorv . The station is served by lines M1 to M3 of the Copenhagen metro system .
The station was opened on October 19, 2002 for the newly built Vestamager – Nørreport underground line. There are transfer options to various bus routes. Since 2019, the M3 line has been crossing the station under the name Cityringen and offers a direct connection to the main station .
