The Lauterbourg station is the station of the Alsatian town of Lauterbourg . It was built in 1874 during the construction of the Wörth – Strasbourg railway line and opened on July 25, 1876 when it was put into operation. On June 29, 1900, the Lauterbourg – Wissembourg railway branching off the main line was opened.
location
The station is on the south-eastern edge of the old town of Lauterbourg. It consists of the historic station building and an office building added to the north after the First World War . Two goods sheds and a cast-iron pump well are also constitutive.
Investments
Three platforms, Quai A, B & C, which can be reached via a level crossing from the station building, are all served by the following trains as planned:
- Quai A: Continuous and departing trains to Strasbourg
- Quai B: Incoming and outgoing trains to and from Wörth (DB)
- Quai C: Through trains in the direction of Wörth
Two signal boxes, Poste 1 and 2 - Poste allemand and Poste français - are each with four main signals (plus two entry signals and two Carré violet, French counterpart to the German Sh 0/1, protection signals ) type ex-AL (ex- Alsace- Lorraine ) once at the north and south head of the station. Poste 1 also serves the level crossing right next to the signal box.

The station is served by TER Alsace trains from Strasbourg . The traffic to Wörth is provided by the Deutsche Bahn . There is an hourly service.
At the main platform is in addition to the French a ticket machine of the Deutsche Bahn are available.
