Tottenham Hale is a train station in the London Borough of Haringey . The local transport hub is served by trains of the Abellio Greater Anglia railway company and by the Victoria Line of London Underground . The traffic junction is in the Travelcard tariff zone 3, at the intersection of Ferry Lane and Watermead Road. In 2013, 10.32 million underground passengers used the station, plus 4.544 million rail passengers. The railway runs above ground, the subway underground.

The station was opened under the name Tottenham on December 15, 1840 by the Northern and Eastern Railway , in the course of the commissioning of the line between Stratford and Broxbourne in the county of Hertfordshire . On September 1, 1968, the first section of the Victoria Line between Walthamstow Central and Highbury & Islington was opened, on the same day it was renamed Tottenham Hale .
