The railway line Udine-Cividale is a branch line in the northeastern Italian Friuli , the Udine with the town of Cividale del Friuli connects. The route, which is around 15 kilometers long, opened on June 24, 1886, is mostly single-track and not electrified . A trip on the branch line takes about 20 minutes, there are a total of 21 level crossings.

Since January 1, 2005, the branch line has been operated by the regional railway company Società Ferrovie Udine Cividale srl (FUC).

Trains run basically in every hour to rush hour adds an additional pair of trains the timetable for half hour .

Ferrovie Udine Cividale owns three ALn 663 railcars and two Ln 778 control cars made by Fiat Ferroviaria to operate the route . Two Stadler GTW DMU-2 / 6s have also been in use since 2006 .

Since June 10, 2012, the railway company has been offering two pairs of trains per day on the route between Udine and Villach in cooperation with ÖBB .
