Bahrain Air BSC (C) ( Arabic طيران البحرين, DMG Ṭayarān al-Baḥrain ) was next to Gulf Air the second national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain , based in Manama and based at Bahrain Airport .
history
The company was founded on July 2, 2007 and began its flight operations on February 1, 2008 with a range of seven destinations. It defined itself as the premium version of a low-cost airline and offered both a premium economy class and a conventional economy class on board its aircraft. Bahrain Air was a public limited company with six shareholders from Bahrain and five from Saudi Arabia .
On February 12, 2013, Bahrain Air announced the cessation of flight operations and their liquidation for economic reasons.
