The Baileyranten ( Norwegian ) are a mountain range from Nunatakkern in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the westernmost three mountain ridges of the Mannefallknausane in Maudheimvidda . The others are the Wildskorvene and the Wilsonberga .
Norwegian scientists named it after the glaciologist Jeremy Thomas Bailey (1941-1965) from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey , who died on October 12, 1965 together with two other scientists when their snowmobile fell into a crevasse in Tottanfjella .
