Mannefallknausane (from Norwegian mannefall , 'battle, loss of human life' ) are nunatakkers in Queen Maud's East Antarctic country . In Maudheimvidda they loom between Heimefrontfjella and the Kraulberge . The Gravstein belongs to them .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967 in memory of the death of three scientists from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey on October 12, 1965, who died when their snowmobile fell into a crevasse in Tottanfjella .
