The Wildskorvene ( Norwegian ) are a mountain range from Nunatakkern in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the easternmost three mountain ridges of the Mannefallknausane in Maudheimvidda . The others are the Baileyranten and the Wilsonberga .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967. It is named after David Peter Wild (1931–1965) from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey , who died on October 12, 1965 with two companions when his snowmobile fell into a crevasse in Tottanfjella .
