Bakary Jarju
Bakary Banana Jarju (also in the spelling Bakary Banana Jarjue ) (born June 3, 1949 ) is a track and field athlete from the West African state of Gambia who specializes in short distances . He took part in the 1984 Olympic Games .

Bakary Jarju took part in two competitions at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles :
- In the 100-meter race , he ran 10.68 s in the first run, was fourth in this run and thus did not qualify for the next round.
- In the 4 × 100 m relay competition , he ran together with Dawda Jallow , Abdurahman Jallow and Sheikh Omar Fye . Jarju was the first of the season that was last in the run-up with 40.73 s and thus could not qualify for the semifinals.
