Bakennefi III.
Bakennefi III. ( Ancient Egyptian Bak-en-nefi III ; Assyrian Bukunani'pi ), father of Inaros I , is the name of the ancient Egyptian prince of Athribis and Heliopolis , who lived from around 700 to 667 BC. BC ( third intermediate period ) ruled there. He took part in the uprising against Assurbanipal and was probably executed because Psammetich I from 667 to 664 BC. Is documented as a successor in Kemwer.
Bakennefi III. is occupied by a statue , as well as various objects, such as silver plates from the " Treasure of Athribis ". He also appears in a deified representation on an altar of Nectanebis. It is also attested by Assyrian sources and was around 674 BC. Involved in the fight against Azarhaddon . His deeds were probably taken into account as a novel motif in the story The Struggle for the Armor of Inaro .
