Balky ( Ukrainian Балки ; Russian Балки Balki , Polish Bałki ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Vinnytsia with about 1750 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in the 15th century, is the administrative center of the eponymous, 26.1 km² district council in the north of Bar Rajon , which also includes the villages Adamivka ( Адамівка , ⊙ ) with about 200 inhabitants, Jossypiwzi ( Йосипівці , ⊙ ) with about 130 inhabitants, Okladne ( Окладне , ⊙ ) with about 620 inhabitants and Tschemeryssy-Barski ( Чемериси-Барські , ⊙ ) with about 900 inhabitants.
The village is located at an altitude of 303 m on the bank of the Riw ( Рів ) opposite the city of Bar , a 104 km long right tributary of the Southern Bug , 70 km southwest of the Vinnytsia Oblast center .
The T-02-29 territorial road runs through the village .
