Balowne ( Ukrainian Баловне ; Russian Баловное Balownoje ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Mykolaiv with about 2,700 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1679, used to be called Jazke ( Яцьке ) and is the only village in the district council of the same name in the Nova Odessa district . Balowne is located at the transition from the southern bow to the Dnepr-Bug-Liman and borders the Mykolaiv airport ( IATA code : NLV). The city center of the Oblast capital Mykolaiv is 19 km southeast of Balowne and the district center Nowa Odessa is 37 km north of the village. The P-06 regional road runs to the west of Balowne .
