The Bangladesh Premier League 2019/20 was the sixth season of Bangladeshi Twenty20 - Cricket championship and was held from 11 December 2019 to 17 January 2020th In the final the Rajshahi Royals were able to prevail against the Khulna Tigers with 21 runs.

The seven franchises play in a group against each other team twice. The first four of this group qualify for the playoffs, in which the winner is determined in the page playoff system .

Corruption case
On May 10, 2020, Shafiqullah , who played for Sylhet Thunder and the Afghan national team , was banned from all forms of cricket for six years for corruption offenses at this tournament and the 2018/19 Afghanistan Premier League .
