Marsh Apawamis Open 2008

The Marsh Apawamis Open 2008 was held from January 30th to February 4th, 2008 in Rye , New York , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2007/08 and belonged to the WSA Gold 45 category . The prize money was $ 60,300.

Nicol David profited in the final against last year's winner Natalie Grinham with a score of 9: 1, 9: 6 and 6: 6 in her favor from Grinham's injury-related abandonment. For Nicol it was the 25th title win on the World Tour.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
