The Bank of Mytilini ( Greek Τράπεζα Μυτιλήνης ) was a Greco-Ottoman bank. It was founded in 1891 by Panos Kourtzis following a decree by Sultan Abdülhamid II with starting capital of 6 million francs .

The main shareholders were investors from Pera and entrepreneurs from the island of Lesbos . Panos Kourtzis transferred Aegean Steam Navigation PM Kourtzis & Co. and its coal mines into the possession of the bank. The Bank of Mytilene was the only bank in the Aegean Islands . In addition to the branch in Mytilini , there were branches in Istanbul , Pera, Athens , Thessaloniki , Izmir , Alexandria , Plomari , Agiasos , Piraeus , Ayvalik , Nazli, Söke , Dikili , on Chios and Athos .

In 1909 the Zervoudaki family became the bank's main shareholder. The poor general economic situation and the bankruptcy of the main shareholder led to the end of the Mytilene Bank in 1911.
