The Bappagai ( Russian Баппагай , Yakut Бааппагай ) is a right tributary of the Wiljui in the Sakha Republic in eastern Siberia .

The river has its source in the Central Siberian mountainous region . It flows in a predominantly northward direction into the Central Yakutian Lowlands and flows from the south into a southern right branch of the Wiljui, 170 km before its confluence with the Lena . The Bappagai has many narrow meanders in its lower course . The Bappagai has a length of 307 km. It drains an area of ​​4650 km². The highway A331 Viljui between Viljuisk and Jakutsk crosses the Bappagai on its upper reaches.
