Barakani is a settlement on the Comoros island of Mohéli .

Barakani is located in the center of the island near the Mkirini mountain ( 524 m , ⊙ ). About halfway between the island's capital Fomboni in the north and Ndrondroni on the south coast. The population is estimated at around 1200 inhabitants.
