Barbara Banga-Schaad

Barbara Banga-Schaad (* 1963 ) is a Swiss politician .

Life

Barbara Banga-Schaad is the wife of Boris Banga , the former Mayor of Grenchen and former National Councilor . From 1997 to 2009 she was a member of the Solothurn Cantonal Council as a member of the SP .

On February 24, 2010, she resigned from the management of the SP of the Canton of Solothurn and the SP of the Solothurn-Lebern Office after it became known that anonymous offensive comments had been made on a blog from the Banga couple's private computer.

In April 2011, Banga-Schaad announced that it was leaving the SP. She is now involved in the Swiss Animal Party (TPS) and ran for it unsuccessfully for both the National Council and the Council of States in the 2011 elections .

Banga-Schaad ran a municipal daycare center in Grenchen until 2014 .
