Boris Banga
Boris Banga (born August 9, 1949 in Basel , legal resident in Münchenstein ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).
Life
Banga studied law and graduated with a licentiate. In 1980 he obtained his patent as a cantonal advocate and notary. From 1975 to 1980 he was legal secretary at the Swiss Association for National Planning. From 1980 to 1990 he was legal advisor to the Grenchen community . In the military he served as an examining magistrate at the 4th division court until his dismissal.
Banga was a member of the Solothurn Cantonal Council from 1989 to 1995 . He was on the judiciary and then on the finance commission, which he presided over in 1993. From 1991 to the end of 2013 he was mayor of Grenchen. Banga missed re-election in the 2013 election. From the 1995 elections he was also in the National Council , in the National Council elections in 2007 he missed re-election.
