Elvira Bader

Elvira Bader (born March 4, 1955 in Mümliswil ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Life

Bader is a trained primary school teacher , but her main job is a farmer . From 1997 to 1999 Bader was Cantonal Councilor of Solothurn . On October 24, 1999 , she was elected to the National Council. In 2003 and 2007 she was re-elected, and in 2011 she did not run again.

Her political work focused on economic and tax issues as well as energy policy. Until 2012 Bader was a board member of the Swiss Nuclear Forum.

Elvira Bader is married and has six children.
