Walter Wobmann (born November 21, 1957 in Schüpfheim ; entitled to live there ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

biography

Wobmann completed a four-year apprenticeship as a car mechanic, today he works as a technical salesman in the tool industry.

Wobmann was a member of the Solothurn Cantonal Council from 2001 to 2003 . He has been a member of the National Council since the 2003 elections . He is a politician on the right wing of the SVP and represents national conservative views. He is co-president of the initiative committee “ Against the construction of minarets ” and is a member of various organizations ( Action for an Independent and Neutral Switzerland (Auns), Sifa Association “Security for All”, House Owners Association Canton Solothurn (Board), Egerking Committee, and other). From 2012 to 2013 he was President of the SVP Canton Solothurn, since 2007 he has been President of the Federation of Motorcyclists in Switzerland and since 2012 President of the Association of Swiss Bus Operators, Bus CH .

Walter Wobmann lives in Gretzenbach , is married and has three children.
