Urs Schläfli-Kocher (born July 2, 1963 in Solothurn , resident in Deitingen ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Life

The trained farmer was a member of the Solothurn Cantonal Council from May 2009 to December 2011 . Since August 2009 he has also been president of the community of Deitingen. In the 2011 parliamentary elections, Schläfli succeeded Pirmin Bishop , who was elected to the Council of States, in the National Council and was a member of the Security Commission . In the parliamentary elections in 2015 he was not re-elected.

Schläfli is on the Board of Directors of the Solothurn Farmers' Association, lives in Deitingen, is married and has two children.
