World poverty and individual responsibility at the University of Zurich. From 2002 to 2012 Bleisch worked as a research assistant at the Ethics Center of the University of Zurich , among other things she was the director of studies and management of the postgraduate courses Advanced Studies in Applied Ethics (ASAE), in which she is still a lecturer today.

In 2014 she was a Senior Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast . From 2017-2019 Bleisch was an academic guest at the Collegium Helveticum of the University of Zurich, the ETH Zurich and the Zurich University of the Arts.

In her work on the relationship between parents and children, she opposes the “transactional model” of children's obligations to their parents based on guilt and gratitude with a “relational model”. Children have a special relationship with their parents, as well as vice versa, of special mutual knowledge, trust and emotional exposure. This also gives rise to a special mutual responsibility. In contrast to the transactional model, however, this is mutual - parents also have a lifelong responsibility for their children.
