Barbara Dégi (born November 29, 1983 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian volleyball player .

Career

Barbara Dégi is the daughter of the volleyball coach Jenő Dégi. As a 10-year-old she lived in Germany for a year because her father worked as a trainer in Paderborn . The diagonal attacker began her career with the Budapest clubs Budapesti VSC and ADRC before moving to Vasas Budapest within the Hungarian capital . There she won the Hungarian championship twice and the national cup three times. She also played with her club in the European Cup. In 2008 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club USC Münster . When she did not get a new contract there in 2010, the Hungarian national player switched to the Swiss first division club Volley Köniz , with whom she also played in European competition. In 2011 Barbara Dégi returned to Germany and played for Alemannia Aachen until 2013 . Then Dégi returned to Hungary and played for MTK Budapest , Újpesti TE and Gödöllői RC.

Since 2019, Dégi has been involved in the spread of the trend sport Teqvoly .
