Barbara George
Barbara George (born August 16, 1942 in New Orleans as Barbara Ann Smith, † August 10, 2006 in Chauvin, Louisiana ) was an American R&B singer and composer.
Life
At the age of 16, Barbara Ann Smith married the future R&B singer Jessie Hill. At the age of 17 she started singing in the church choir. In 1961 she had her first chart success with I know (you don´t love me no more (US number 3).
