Barbara Heitger

Barbara Heitger (* 1958 ) is an author and systemic management consultant . She founded Heitger Consulting GmbH with its headquarters in Vienna, whose consultants advise on strategy, change and leadership. She works as a group dynamics trainer and teaching advisor at the ÖGGO ( Austrian Society for Group Dynamics and Organizational Consulting ), on the Scientific Advisory Board of Carl Auer Verlag , a founding member of the ACC ( Austrian Coaching Council ) and lecturer in MBA courses and at universities.

biography

After studying law , sociology and political science at the University of Vienna , Barbara Heitger worked at the Institute for European Law in Vienna (Academy of Sciences) and gave introductory tutorials at several universities. In 1983 she went to GiroCredit Bank , Vienna, in personnel and organizational development / marketing, where she worked until 1987. Then she switched to consulting at the Digital Equipment Corporation . In 1990 Heitger founded the book series "Managerie" and was its editor for nine years. In the same year, Heitger began her consulting career at the Neuwaldegg consultancy group in Vienna, where she contributed to the company's development as managing partner for 17 years and was director of the Neuwaldegg research group from 1999 to 2007. Since 1992 Heitger has been a lecturer at various universities such as the Vienna University of Technology , WU Vienna , Konstanz University of Applied Sciences , ZWW Augsburg , University of Applied Sciences Controlling, University of Klagenfurt, etc. and since 1995 teaching advisor and trainer at ÖGGO. Heitger worked in the editorial team of the “ Zeitschrift für Organizationentwicklung ” from 1996 to 2002 and in 1998 she was nominated Speaker of the Year of the IIR ( Institute for International Research ). From 2001 to 2007 Heitger was a member of the board of an international non-profit organization and has been a scientific advisor to Carl-Auer-Verlag since 2007 .

In autumn 2007 she founded the consulting company Heitger Consulting.

In addition to her studies, Heitger completed training in group dynamics at the ÖGGO, psychoanalysis and several years of training with Matthias Varga von Kibéd as well as with Fritz B. Simon , Gunther Schmidt , Robert Fritz (USA) and Peter Fürstenau .
