Barbara Kühl

Barbara Kühl , b. Münch , pseudonym: Barbara von Stark (born November 28, 1939 in Heydebreck (Upper Silesia) ) is a German writer and radio play author .

Life

Barbara Kühl was born in Upper Silesia and grew up on the island of Poel . After graduating from high school , she worked as a finance clerk, payroll clerk and clerk for information and documentation. From 1962 to 1963 she worked part-time for the company newspaper and from 1972 to 1976 for the press, and from 1978 to 1991 she worked as a freelance writer. From April 1991 she worked as a local writer and from January 1, 1994 as editor of the official gazette “Mäckelbörger Wegweiser”.

From 1983 to 1990 Barbara Kühl was a member of the GDR Writers' Association and since 1990 of the Association of German Writers .

Barbara Kühl is married and has two children. She lives in Bad Kleinen .
