Barbara Koch-Priewe

Barbara Koch-Priewe (born August 9, 1950 in Marburg ) is a German educational scientist and professor of educational science in AG 4 "School development and school research" of the educational science faculty at Bielefeld University .

Before completing her doctorate in Marburg with Wolfgang Klafki , she worked as a research assistant in the Marburg elementary school project and in the EVI CIEL project (Münster) and then worked for many years as a teaching researcher at the Bielefeld high school . Before being appointed to Bielefeld in 2008, she held substitute professorships at the University of Kassel and Philipps University of Marburg as well as full professorships for general didactics and school pedagogy at the University of Cologne (1998–2004) and the Technical University of Dortmund (2004–2008).

Her academic work focuses on general didactics and educational theory , teacher professional research and education , school development as well as educational gender research and joint teaching / inclusion .
