Barbara Repetto (born May 16, 1947 in Bolzano ) is an Italian politician.

Repetto studied literature and art history at the University of Bologna ( laurea in lettere ). In 1986 she was appointed Director of the State Office for European Affairs and South Tyrolean Coordinator of the European Social Fund , in 1990 Director of the Italian Vocational Education and Training Department and European Social Fund, and in 2003 Head of the Departments for Labor, Innovation and Research, Cooperatives, Immigration, Equal Opportunities and Italian Vocational training.

In 2008 Repetto was elected on the list of the Partito Democratico with 1,939 preferential votes in the South Tyrolean state parliament and at the same time the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol . After initially serving as Vice President of the State Parliament for a short time, she was a member of the State Government in the Durnwalder V cabinet as State Councilor for Innovation, IT, Labor, Italian Vocational Training, Cooperatives, Finance and Budget . On January 21, 2010 it became known that Repetto had to give up her seat in the state parliament due to a ruling by the Roman court of cassation, because at the time of the election she was a member of the board of directors of a company with participation of the State of South Tyrol and therefore not eligible. On February 2, 2010, Roberto Bizzo , who had successfully sued Repetto, moved up for her in the state parliament and subsequently in the state government.
