Karim Noureldin
Karim Noureldin (born December 8, 1967 in Zurich ) is a Swiss artist .
Life
Karim Noureldin studied from 1988 to 1989 at the Zurich University of the Arts and from 1990 to 1993 at the Basel School of Design . From 1994 to 2000 he lived in New York City , from 2001 in Rome and London. He has lived and worked in Lausanne since 2002 .
Since 2002 he has been a lecturer in fine arts at the Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL). Member of several cultural institutions, Karim Noureldin has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hermann and Margrit Rupf Foundation / Rupf Collection, Bern, since 2017.

Karim Noureldin works mainly in the field of contemporary drawing. Parallel to the graphic work, projects in the field of photography, sculpture, room-related wall and floor painting as well as site-specific room installation in museums and galleries of contemporary art as well as in public spaces are created. He also worked on projects for a younger generation of Swiss architects. In cooperation with manufacturers in India, textile objects and installations have also been created since 2016.
