Barbara Sieberth

Barbara Sieberth (born June 6, 1978 in Oberndorf near Salzburg ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ) and freelance trainer. From 2013 to 2018 she was a member of the Salzburg state parliament .

biography

Sieberth studied law at the University of Vienna and graduated with the academic degree Mag . She completed her judicial year in Salzburg and has been working professionally in youth work since 2003, with a focus on youth mobility, participation of young people and voluntary services. Among other things, she was active in the international department of the youth club Akzente Salzburg for several years. She is currently a freelance trainer in extracurricular youth work (EU Youth in Action program) and works in project support within the framework of EU projects.

Sieberth was founded in 2009 as a representative of v councilor in the city of Salzburg, where she represented the Greens to mid-June 2013 council. She was the spokeswoman for the Salzburg Greens for youth, culture, women and integration and was a member of the culture committee, member of the building committee, member of the honorary board and member of the hunting committee. She was also represented on the Board of Trustees of the Eizenbergerhof Literature House. Sieberth ran in the 2013 state elections in seventh place on the Greens state list as well as in second place in the Salzburg constituency and was able to move into the state parliament thanks to the first two seats of the Greens in this constituency. She was sworn in as a member of the state parliament on June 19, 2013. After the state elections in Salzburg in 2018 , she left the state parliament.

Sieberth is the spokeswoman for the Green Women and coordinator of the regulars' table jung: green She also founded the watch group against sexist advertising and is a volunteer at the platform human rights Salzburg. In addition, she was co-founder of the association "Blattform: one city - one garden" and a related initiative, the community garden planting Schallmoos.

Sieberth lives in a community and became the mother of a daughter in 2012. She lives in Schallmoos .
