Barbara Wolflingseder

Barbara Wolflingseder (* 1965 ) is an Austrian freelance radio play speaker , radio presenter , journalist , tour guide and author .

Life

Because of her love for Vienna , the native Upper Austrian moved there and, according to her own statement, has since dealt intensively with the city and the facets of the big city. She completed her studies in visual design in Linz and completed an acting course in Vienna. For several years she worked in the free Viennese theater scene.

Wolflingseder is also active as a speaker and radio journalist for Ö1 and ORF . It offers speech technology and radio workshops in schools and youth centers. The literary show series of events organized by the Divina Komödie theater association is based on a concept by Barbara Wolflingseder and Andre Blau. She has been a certified tourist guide in Vienna since 2006, but sees herself more as a mediator of history and culture. She offers public tours through the Association of Viennese Walks and can also put together individual tours on request. Her most popular tours are the Romantic Old Town, Lust & Vice, Dark Stories, Central Cemetery, Viennese Legends, Literature Walk and Cottage Walk . From 2007 she was a member of the Vienna Guidance Working Group, of which she is no longer listed as a member. In addition, she designed seven audio books about various districts of Vienna and writes non-fiction books.
