Barbora Bobuľová (born April 29, 1974 in Martin , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak actress .

Act

Bobuľová is better known in her homeland than in German-speaking countries. Well-known productions in which she participated were the film adaptation of the Bible The Bible - Paul in 2000 , The Crusaders in 2001 and Swimming in 2006 I never liked . She embodied the female lead in The Prince of Homburg from 1997 with Natalia . She was particularly successful in Italian cinema and television. In 2003 she won the actor's award at the Biarritz TV Festival for the multi-part television series La guerra è finita . For her work in Ferzan Özpetek's drama Cuore sacro , Bobuľová won the David di Donatello for best leading actress in 2005 , and one year later the European Nastro d'Argento of the Sindacato Nazionale Giornalisti Cinematografici Italiani .

In 2008 she embodied the young fashion designer Coco Chanel in the two-part television film of the same name by the Canadian director Christian Duguay . She stood alongside Shirley MacLaine as older Coco Chanel.
