Competition in the Castle (original title: Nesmrtelná teta ) is a Czech fairytale film by Zdeněk Zelenka from 1993. The film was released on November 25, 1993 in the Czech Republic . In Germany it was first broadcast on March 2, 1997 on the children's channel .

The farmer's son Matthäi (Matěj) lives primitively, but happily and has little understanding. Through a bet between Mr. Understanding and Mrs. Luck, which of the two is more important, Matthai exchanges his mind with the wise king of the country, who is henceforth stupid and thereby plunges his country and his people into misery. The now clever Matthäi must now try everything to protect the country from further damage, which he ultimately succeeds.
