The Barcus Glacier is a glacier on the Lassiter coast of the Palmerland in the south of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows in the Hutton Mountains from an area north of Mount Nash and Mount Light in an east-southeast direction to Keller Inlet .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after James Roy Barcus (1930–1988), ionospheric physicist at Byrd Station in the Antarctic summer months 1966/1967 and 1967/1968.
