The Bardell rock is a marine rocks off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the group of Pitt Islands belonging to the Biscoe Islands archipelago , it is 1.5 km south of Dickens Rocks .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1971 after Mrs. Bardell, a character from the serial novel The Pickwickier (1836-1837) by the British writer Charles Dickens .
