The Barn Rock ( English for barn rock ) is a striking and 90 m high cliff rock off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located northwest of Lodge Rock at the northern end of the Terra Firma Islands in Marguerite Bay .
He was discovered and mapped by participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill . The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out a new survey in 1948 and named it after its appearance, which is reminiscent of a barn from the west .
