Barra do Dande is a village and a municipality in Angola . The Dande River flows into the Atlantic Ocean here .

Barra do Dande is the seat of a municipality of the same name (Comuna) in the district ( Município ) of Dande , Province of Bengo . 16,510 inhabitants live in the municipality (extrapolated estimate 2014). From now on, the 2014 census should provide reliable population data.
In addition to Barra do Dande, the most important places in the municipality include Panguila, Musseque Cabele, Muzondo, Quicoca, Ludy, Quissomeira and Vale do Paraíso.
