Bartłomiej Grzelak (born August 9, 1981 in Płock , Poland ) is a former Polish football player .

Career

The striker began his professional career in 2001 with his hometown club Orlen Płock . After 3 seasons with 3 different clubs, Grzelak was only able to gain a foothold again at Widzew Łódź and recommend himself for higher tasks. After a strong first half of the 2006/2007 season, in which he scored 4 goals in 13 games, Legia Warszawa noticed him and signed him until June 30, 2010. During his time at Legia, Grzelak was often injured and shot in 59 league games only 13 goals. His contract was not renewed. On August 8, 2010 he signed a contract with the Russian club FK Sibir Novosibirsk . Here he scored 3 goals in 8 league games. However Sibir dismounted end of the season and Grzelak returned after six months without a club after Poland to Jagiellonia Białystok back. There he was not used, which is why he moved to league rivals Cracovia Kraków in early 2012 . For Cracovia, however, he also only played 3 league games in which he scored a goal. After relegation with Cracovia, he moved to Górnik Zabrze on July 9, 2012 , but his contract was terminated after just four days. After being out of a contract for a year, he signed a contract with the second division club Wisła Płock in mid-2013 . However, he could not convince here and came on only five short appearances in the 2nd division.

On December 6, 2006 , Grzelak made his debut in the Polish national team in a 5-2 win over the United Arab Emirates , where he was able to register himself as a double goalscorer.
