Barxudarlı is a place in Azerbaijan . The village is completely enclosed by Armenian territory and together with Sofulu it forms an Azerbaijani exclave . It is less than 1 km from metropolitan Azerbaijan. De jure , Barxudarlı is part of Qazax Rayon . However, the place has been de facto occupied by Armenia since the Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1992 and is administered by the Tavush Province . During the Armenian occupation, the Azerbaijani population was driven out by the Armenian army ; the place actually no longer exists.
