Lake Bato is located in the Camarines Sur Province , 9 km southwest of Iriga City in the Bicol region of the Philippines . The lake is located west of the Iriga volcano , on its shore lies the municipality of the same name, Bato .

The lake covers an area of ​​28.10 km² and is part of the water catchment area of ​​the Bicol River . Important commercially used fish species are predatory catfish ( Clarias sp. ), The tilapia Tilapia mossambica and Tilapia nilotica and the carp ( Cyprinus carpio ). The climbing fish Anabas testudineus is also at home in the sea area as is shrimp of the genus Macrobrachium .
