Baxter Dury (born December 18, 1971 in Wingrave , Buckinghamshire ) is a British musician and singer of the indie genre. He is the son of Ian Dury , who collaborated with him on his album cover for New Boots and Panties !! (Baxter is five years old at the time). He has a son, Kosmo Korda Dury (* 2002), whose mother is in turn the granddaughter of the film director Zoltan Korda .

Originally under contract with Rough Trade Records , he achieved a "Record of the Week" on the New Musical Express (NME) in 2002 with his EP Oscar Brown . Dury is now at PIAS Le Label (part of the [PIAS] Entertainment Group with headquarters in Brussels ) where he released his album It's a Pleasure on October 20, 2014 .

In 2018, Baxter Dury formed the project BED ByteFM with the French house DJ and producer Étienne de Crécy and Delilah Holliday , singer and guitarist of the London punk band Skinny Girl Diet, and rated BED as a "new supergroup with Cockney Prince Baxter Dury" White Coats , the first decoupling from the album to be released on Heavenly Recordings: "The three very different artists complement each other to form a surprisingly coherent unit. For 'White Coats' Dury has reduced his swagger a little and shows himself from a somewhat calmer side there is even an uncertain twitch through his otherwise self-confident voice. Holliday sings the chorus with stoic casualness, while Étienne de Crécy lets his synthesizer arpeggios revolve around the two chants. "
