Bavarian beer route

The Bavarian Beer Route currently runs from the city of Ingolstadt through the districts of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen , Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and Kelheim . Further routes are planned.

It connects numerous breweries and museums (including the brewery museum of the Ettal Abbey ) and demonstrates purity and production techniques.

The Bavarian Beer Route leads mostly through the world's largest contiguous hop growing area of Hallertau . To the west, the road runs through the asparagus growing area of Schrobenhausen .

variants

Starting from Ingolstadt ( German purity law ), the route leads in different variants, e.g. B. Wolnzach ( German Hop Museum ), Neuburg an der Donau ( City Palace ) or Beilngries ( Brewery Museum ) to several breweries .

Other possible destinations include the Weltenburg Abbey at the Danube Gorge and the spa town of Bad Gögging .
