Beat Villiger (doctor)

Beat Villiger (born January 27, 1944 in Erstfeld , Canton Uri ) is a Swiss sports doctor . For years he was the club doctor of HC Davos . He is a specialized pulmonologist and doping doctor. At several Olympic Games he was the chief doctor of the Swiss national team . From 2005 to 2010 he was chief physician at the Swiss Paraplegic Center and head of the Swiss Olympic Medical Center (SOMC) in Bad Ragaz .

He lives in Maienfeld , is married and has two grown children.
