Beate Bendel (* 1954 in Berlin ) is a ceramist and painter in Berlin.

biography

After graduating from high school in 1972, Beate Bendel studied education and languages ​​in Halle (Saale) and Berlin until 1977 . From 1978 to 1980 she trained as a ceramist in Berlin, which she completed in 1980 with Hedwig Bollhagen . Since 1980 she has worked as a freelance ceramist. After graduating as a master ceramist in 1982, Beate Bendel was deputy head master of potters in Berlin until 1986.

Since 1990 she has been working as a freelance artist, from 1993 she turned more and more to painting and in 1994 participated in the artist exchange between London and Berlin. In the meantime, painting has become the main component of her artistic work.
