Beate Bohr (born November 18, 1970 ) is a German actress and cabaret artist . The Danish Nobel Prize winner Niels Bohr is her great-great-uncle.

Life

After studying acting at the Cologne Theater der Keller , she found engagements at the city theaters of Aachen , Cologne and Osnabrück . With her return to the independent theater scene in Cologne, she was awarded the 2003 theater prize for the play Das Fest (director: Joe Knipp ). This was followed by her first TV appearances on ZDF in the film Now it's my turn, darling , alongside Anja Kruse , as well as a continuous role in the WDR production Die Anrheiner . From 2004 to 2006 she was a member of the Cologne Stunksitzung ensembleand made her debut with her first own cabaret program Harem Globetrotters with her colleague Selda Selbach. After appearances at the Mitternachtsspitzen and the WDR Funkhaus , she is a member of the ensemble in Bonn at Pink Punk Pantheon , which is also broadcast annually on WDR. From 2009 to 2011 she toured Germany with her dog Sportsfreund and the Hot Dog program . She also appeared at Gerburg Jahnke's Ladies Night and NDR Comedy Contest . In addition, you could see her for a long time as the assistant to the Cologne cabaret artist Jürgen Becker in his program The Third Way of Education . From 2012 to 2016 she performed her bitch for 3 women nationwide with her colleagues Sonja Kling and Tanja Haller , and the program also enjoyed an exclusive residency twice a month at the Pantheon Theater in Bonn . She has also appeared for Die Physikanten since 2009 and works as a speaker for WDR radio. Bohr lives in Cologne.
