Beate Braun

Beate Braun (* 1955 ; † May 22, 2009 in Biberach an der Riss ) was a German legal scholar .

Life

1988 Beate Braun for the professor law at that was Biberach University called and taught students the general law. Before that, she worked as a lawyer for two years and was head of the central legal department and authorized signatory of a global corporation. Her main areas of study were civil law , commercial law and company law . From 1989 until her death, Braun was in charge of the university's examination office. In 1994 she was also elected dean. She was also the university's women's representative and campaigned for equal opportunities for women and men in the academic field at Biberach University.

Awards

In 1996 she was awarded the State Teaching Prize for her didactic skills in her subject area.
