Beate Leibe (born January 26, 1954 in Berlin ) is a German church musician and composer .

Life

Leibe received her first piano lessons as a child and, at the age of six, performed at the Steinway Piano Competition in the concert hall of the Berlin University of Music . Three years later she broke off her instrumental training. In 1990 she became a member of a small church choir in her community, where her gifts were recognized by the cantor. She began composing for the choir. In 1999 her works were performed in two choir concerts. In 2002 she passed the C-exam at the church music seminar at the Berlin University of the Arts of the Evangelical Church in Berlin-Brandenburg. From 2012 to 2014 she worked as a church musician at the Evangelical Rock Church Community in Berlin-Reinickendorf. Your choral works are u. a. performed by the Marzahn Chamber Choir in Berlin or by Singkreis Schwechat near Vienna .
