Beate Thomann

Beate Thomann (born November 18, 1951 in Donndorf ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 1994 to 1998 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Education and life

Beate Thomann attended the EOS Goethe School in Roßleben and completed vocational training with a high school diploma . From 1970 to 1974 she studied chemistry at the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 1974 to 1991 she worked at VEB Chemische Werke Buna in Schkopau , where she worked as a shift manager, section manager, specialist chemist and dispatcher on shifts. From 1991 to 1992 she trained as a representative for environmental protection at Haus der Technik e. V. Food.

Beate Thomann is single.

Beate Thomann joined the Greens after the fall of the Berlin Wall in February 1990 and was spokeswoman for the state board of the Greens in Saxony-Anhalt from October 1991 to June 1993 and spokeswoman for the state board of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Sachsen-Anhalt from June 1993 to July 1994 . From 1990 to June 1994 she was the community representative in Schkopau. In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 1994 , she was elected to the state parliament via the state list. In the state parliament she was the parliamentary manager of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group, a member of the committees for economy and technology, for food, agriculture and forestry and for equality.
