The Beaumont Bay , the inlet of Dickey Glacier into the Ross Ice Shelf of Antarctica Ross Dependency . The participants in the Shackleton Coast lying bay is bounded laterally by the Young Head and Harris Point . Deverall Island is offshore .
It was discovered by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott , who named it after Admiral Lewis Beaumont (1847-1922) of the Royal Navy , who advised the expedition as an experienced Arctic traveler was standing.
